Hi, I’m Gavin.

I’ve always had a deep love for cinematic films. I’m drawn to the way they are carefully composed, lit and crafted to create feeling. That love of visual storytelling has shaped the way I approach wedding filmmaking, with a focus on atmosphere, emotion and the quiet in-between moments that often say the most.

I also take a lot of inspiration from art, particularly Caravaggio. His use of light and shadow has always stayed with me, and it influences the way I look for depth, contrast and natural drama within a wedding day.

Away from filming, I’m very much a family person. When I’m not capturing weddings, I’m usually spending time with my family, enjoying the simple things at home, or looking after our tortoise Einstein. I think that side of life keeps me grounded, and it’s probably why I’m so drawn to weddings in the first place, real people, real connection, and the moments that mean the most.

For me, wedding filmmaking is about more than just documenting a day. It’s about creating something honest, beautiful and deeply personal, so that years from now, you can feel it all again.
